Idyllic, rural, and quintessentially Canadian, each year the 4th Line Theatre Company presents Canadian plays – written by and about Canadians; small town stories or broad national sagas that touch a nerve in all of us.

Millbrook Farmers Market

The Millbrook Farmers’ Market is a seasonal destination for  fabulous local food, fun and entertainment for the whole family.  The market runs monthly from April to October, on the 4th Sunday of the month, 10am to 1pm, rain or shine, at the Old Millbrook School, 1 Dufferin Street.

Hike the Millbrook Valley Trails

From access points at the south edge of the Village, you can enjoy a nature hike on one of the 5 trails  that follow the shores and valley of Baxter Creek.  The trails wind through forests, wetlands, meadows and provide several scenic lookouts.

Bike or Hike to the Ganaraska Forest

The Ganny Transit, a new extension to the Millbrook Valley Trail system, will take you into the 12,000 acre Ganaraska Forest with its 680 km of hiking and cycling trails.

Historical Society Walking Tour

The village of Millbrook is remarkable for its well-preserved heritage homes and properties and has an interesting history.  Come and enjoy a self-guided tour, by foot or bicycle, that will feature some of the architectural gems in the village and outline some of the area’s rich history. Cavan Monaghan Barn Quilt Trails

Follow a self-guided trail to enjoy an educational experience that celebrates the people, history, and culture of our Township.  The Trail celebrates our community through uniquely customized block designs to tell the stories of our past and present using quilting and painting as the media. Combining agriculture, tourism, history and scenery this tour is a crowd pleaser.

Butter Tart Tour

Millbrook is featured among over 50 locations throughout Kawarthas Northumberland to enjoy some of the best butter tarts in Ontario.  A fun-filled, family-friendly tour to leave your sweet tooth satisfied.

Cycling Routes

Several bike routes include a visit to Millbrook while enjoying the beautiful countryside, quiet roads, and lovely views. Millbrook boasts a cycling themed cafe, the Pastry Peddler, and a spacious bike rack to welcome tourists that cycle into town.
